Schedule
The schedule has not yet been fully finalised, but to help you plan your travel arrangements, the conference kicks off on Wednesday 9 April at 9:00 am, with the first keynote lecture at 9:30am, and the final technical sessions finish on Friday 11 April at around 1:00 pm.
The overall time schedule is available. It presents the main slots of the conference, technical sessions, keynote lectures, panel sessions and exhibition. More detailed versions will be available later.
Exhibition Time
The exhibition will provide participants with the opportunity to speak with major suppliers of products and services to the fan industry. During a plenary session, exhibitors will each give a 5 minutes presentation of capability to assist participant identify those of most relevance to their business.
Keynote Lectures
To get the day off to a good start, each morning will begin with a keynote lecture on a variety of interesting subjects, including:
- Aeroacoustic research and noise reduction for aircraft – mechanisms, technologies, perspectives
Prof. Jan W. DELFS (Germany) - Machine-learning application to turbomachinery design and validation
Lorenzo TIEGHI (Italy) - Planning of fluid systems towards energy efficiency by mathematical optimization
Prof. Ulf LORENZ (Germany)
Panel session
Panel sessions will be highlights of the conference. The panellists and audience will debate during 1 hour minimum the impact these very different subjects will have on the wider fan community. The themes will be:
- Artificial Intelligence and Fans
- Consideration for future fan efficiency regulation
